About Cranham

The director of Cranham is Kevin Hamp. Kevin is a chartered Process Engineer with over 25 years experience in chemical and process plant design, commissioning and operations management, both within the UK and overseas.

Following graduation from Nottingham University, Kevin began his career at Monsanto plc in Newport, South Wales. He worked on a number of batch speciality chemical plants (including flame retardants, speciality polymers and detergents).

In 1988 Kevin joined the Associated Octel Company and was engaged in the design of a number of Bromine derivative plants. Designs were developed for zone I and II hazardous areas and included reactor, storage, distillation and aerial abatement facilities.

Kevin has extensive process design experience in the chlor-alkali industry and has commissioned several chlorine plants both in the UK and overseas.

INEOS ChlorVinyls has recently invested in a world scale chlor-alkali facility at its Runcorn site, UK.

Cranham in partnership with INEOS Technologies provided process engineering support for the commissioning of this state of the art cell-room and its central control room facilities, which were brought on-line in 2006.
